Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is a reviewer who takes on Z-grade movies generally that are in the genre of martial arts and horror. genre a roughly similar beat like The Cinema Snob but tending towards action-oriented dumb films and a morbid enjoyment of these films. After earning some recognition through the channels on Channel Awesome (under her previous username Obscurus Lupa) She began to review films in the latter half of 2009. The channel was online up until the end of 2015, which is when Obscurus Lupa Presents turned into Movie Nights. The podcasts she hosts focus on the Charmed series. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Brad Jones' Jesus Bro! was also her first film. Guest-starring in Midnight Screenings is a regular occurrence. The show reviews horrible movies geared towards children, RiffTrax and live shows. There are also times when it features adult-oriented comedy. She began reviewing movies at the end of 2009 and gained recognition on the Channel Awesome forums before officially being a part of the group of reviewers on Channel Awesome. There have been numerous appearances on Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She appeared on many seasons on Nostalgia Critic and was a past member of Channel Awesome's family along with Doug Walker.
