Alison Sudol

I found music a very non-feminine place to be in as such, and therefore embracing this degree of femininity has been an extremely challenging task for me. The idea that I could be feminine, strong, and soft, and still look after myself, without reducing myself, was an uphill task for me. It was something that I appreciated a great deal. I loved the heels and a dress every day and also the silky fabric. I'm an actress who is younger than everybody else [in Fantastic Beasts] and there was plenty of pressure to be a part of it. The experience was odd, however I could feel a force pushing me up. I was either going be crushed or fall apart due to how much I wanted this role and how large it was. I can spend entire days in the streets, exploring museums cafes, parks and the like and simply observing the individuals. London is a place where it is a place where you can be surrounded by other people. In LA it can be solitary however, you're between everything. I am awestruck by individuals. I'm from a world of music where you're constantly surrounded by men and you feel like there's a real intimacy almost every minute working with guys. It's an amazing, surreal dream. I have read all of the books in the series. It was nice to be able to read the novels while traveling. There are always new cities to visit and that can make it difficult to stay focused. To be able to disappear to such a vivid visual universe inside your bunk is really wonderful. Alison Alison Alison
